Those seems to like a Southeast Asian cuisine or Middle Eastern cuisine instead of Chinese cuisine

炒飯用的是煮過的飯 而且不會濕黏黏到那個樣子
For Chinese fried rice, We use cooked rice. in the end it appear dry. Not wet or sticky like that.

>>17451221
我覺得還是這個吧 而且其實你炒個飯也不一定甩鍋
I think this one is reliable. Actually you doesn't need to throw and still able to cook a good fried rice

是蛋炒飯 而且蛋不要炒焦就好
Just make sure you are cooking a egg fried rice but not scrambled eggs and rice.

Watch both video, all I can say is OMG.
First one she turn the fried rice into congee... She boil the rice with way too much water (I believe she added four times more than it actually needed). The proper way to cook rice here would be steamed, and keep the rice and water a 1:1 ratio. Never boil my rice so I can't tell how much water it need, but definitely NOT THAT MUCH!

Second one, HOLY MOTHER OF GOD! She burned the garlic at the beginning, and put in UNCOOKED Rice!
Of course there's no taste of garlic, it's basically charcoal...And you could almost hear the cracking sound when the man chew: the rice was still hard and not edible!

See how Chinese/Taiwanese do fried rice:
1.Soy sauce fried rice
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Q-5eIBfBDQ&
2.Egg fried rice
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EvE5cYNXufY
3.Spring onion fried rice
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5SanLAQXRBk
(He uses a different technique by add the yolk to the rice, once the yolk is cooked the rice would separated nicely.Sadly no English subtitle though.)

I forgot to mention, the third video was a Taiwanese called James(I think), the setup his use in the film is closer to ordinary Taiwanese family have in their kitchen.

Wang Gang's set is basically a professional restaurant kitchen, and some technique he use looks difficult and needs lots of practice.

And about Kay, I never see her video until now. I'm pretty sure she just not very good at cooking Chinese cuisine. It reminds me one time I watched an episode of Master Chef where the contestant was task to make Dim Sum. Not only those home cook made disastrous abominations, the judge's sample were also not the Dim Sum we have in Hong Kong or Taiwan.)
I means, if she has gain popularity on 4chan, she must have something done right, right? (Either some okay dishes or good entertainment value, that sort of thing.)

4chan love her big tits and accent mostly. About 90-95% of 4chan like Kay's food judging by the threads, but she isn't as popular anymore. They have a new favorite YouTube chef now.

I think I'll use Wang as base, I will adjust recipe slightly but use his technique I think... wok hei

By the way, I think you could also consider treat your friend with your local cuisine. If there's nothing too weird or having a health concern, why not let the guest enjoy some foreign dishes?

Anyways, wish you luck. Cheers!
