瑪麗·安托瓦內特：據說年幼時的她曾在皇宮中與音樂神童莫札特有過一段典故，當時同樣年幼的莫札特在仙布倫宮為奧國皇族演奏，結果不慎滑了一跤　
這時瑪麗公主扶了他一把，莫札特因而表示為感謝她的好心，以後要娶她為妻，她與當時還是法國皇太子的路易十六的婚姻是為達成法奧兩國和平的目的
而安排的，一七七0年，十五歲的她嫁入法國的波旁王室，四年後成為法國皇后，但她的婚姻並不幸福，路易十六雖然對她頗為忠實，但其溫吞仁懦的個性
並不能博得生性活潑的瑪麗的歡心，身處華麗的凡爾賽宮，瑪麗盡情的放縱奢華的慾望，除了錦衣玉食外，她還特別喜歡在凡爾賽的小提安儂宮與眾貴族
假扮農村的平民與牧羊女，而且瑪麗用來應景的山羊事先還必須灑上香水，其奢華可見一般，加上她並不勤於履行皇室義務，使她的名聲每下愈況，以及
一七八五年發生的”項鍊事件”，瑪麗雖是無辜卻令她的聲望跌入谷底，四年後法國革命爆發，皇室被迫遷回巴黎，之後皇族的逃亡未遂加上外國紛紛想插手
法國革命，使大革命走向極端，路易十六和瑪麗皇后先後被處決，但瑪麗在臨死前在不小心踩到劊子手的腳時，卻立刻向他說了”對不起”，這是她非常著名的事蹟～
